SOS P.S.H SEBATIAN
What is actually meant by PSH Sebatian?? It is actually a blending of soy sauce with some permitted flavoring and preservatives which is having no nutrients. In order to meet the demands of consumers, caramel coloring and a quantity of seasonings being added in for having a nice color as well as an acceptable taste.
According to the Malaysian Law, it is stipulated that neither chemical nor prepared soy sauce can be called “Soy Sauce or Kicap”, it should be referred as to “Sos Sebatian / P.S.H / Blended Hydrolysed Vegetable (Plant) Protein Sauce”.
It is having the same purpose as of Soy Sauce but of course the taste is not going to be the same, it wouldn’t be having the aroma of the beans…..
